Maria spent over 10 years helping brands big and small achieve recognition from customers, industry and investors through effective PR strategies.
After rising in the ranks of PR agencies, she served as Head of PR, Influencer Marketing and Communications at Amorepacific – the world’s leading Korean beauty company, where she managed all communications efforts for global beauty brands, such as LANEIGE, Sulwhasoo, Goutal, innisfree, Mamonde and AMOREPACIFIC. Maria also taught her signature course on PR and Communications at Baruch College (City University of New York) and have been invited to speak and teach PR masterclasses in the US and abroad.
In 2021, Maria left her corporate career to launch her own beauty company, Rumore Beauty. However, her passion for PR has stayed with her and she has been committed to helping startups and emerging professionals build their presence in media. Maria advises entrepreneurs on building their personal brand, developing key messages and finding opportunities to generate more awareness for themselves and their businesses.
